We are seeking a Senior Android Kotlin Developer to lead our Android development team in Okara. You'll be responsible for architecting and building high-quality native Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android development practices.

Requirements

  • 13+ years of professional Android development experience with Kotlin
  • 2Strong expertise in Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development
  • 3Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Android Architecture Components
  • 4Proficiency in Coroutines, Flow, and reactive programming
  • 5Knowledge of Room Database, Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt
  • 6Experience with Android testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito)
  • 7Understanding of Android app deployment and Play Store guidelines
  • 8Must be based in or willing to relocate to Okara

Responsibilities

  • 1Lead Android app development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
  • 2Architect scalable Android applications with clean code practices
  • 3Mentor junior Android developers and conduct code reviews
  • 4Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect designs
  • 5Optimize app performance and ensure smooth 60fps user experience
  • 6Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
  • 7Maintain high code quality through testing and best practices
